Running is an amazing and fast way to burn a lot of calories and lose body fat. However, not everyone loves to run. You do not have to run to lose weight. I am not a huge fan of running. In fact, you can read my post on running my first full marathon experience. Gosh, i nearly ended up in the ambulance. Kudos to those who love running and can run miles all day. I have a love-hate relationship with burpees. They burn an insane number of calories and give you a great workout. They can be super hard, but they do a great job because they are a full body workout. Especially when you do not or cannot lift weights, you can try this body workout to help you reduce body fat. You can modify them or intensify them as you like. If you need a workout at home to burn calories fast without equipment, this is it. They incorporate squats with pushups, or planks jump etc. depending on how you do them.
A great form of cardio to burn more calories than running is swimming. It makes you work every part of your body at the same time. It’s crazy how it can seem very easy, but when you actually swim, it’s a lot of work. Swimming is highly recommended as a great workout for pregnant women.
You can jump ropes almost anywhere, you do not need a huge space for it. It involves using only your body and the ropes to give an amazing workout. Jump rope could burn about 13 calories per minute if you did around 100-120 jumps every minute. This is definitely another quick calorie burning workout. It not only helps you burn fat and lose weight, it also helps improve your bone density and balance.
I have only done indoor rock climbing and loved it. My body was sore for days. I can only imagine how many calories you would actually burn doing outdoor rock climbing. Depending on the intensity and difficulty, the average person could burn close to 500-900 calories in one hour.
By dancing, I mean high intensity like Zumba classes. You could burn a ton of calories just by having fun dancing. So, the next time you are at a party, why not get your groove on and burn some calories while having fun. Again this is another great workout to burn calories fast without any equipment.

This is one of my favorite gym classes. A fun way to burn more calories than running in the gym. It engages your legs, glutes, shoulders, back, and abs. depending on the instructor, they could make it as intense or modified as possible.
I have not actually tried these since my gym does not have it. But from what I hear and see, the upper body effect is insane. You could burn around 10.5 calories every minute from these! The downside to this is you need to get the battle ropes or have access to a gym that has them.
This workout is great for your upper body especially your back and burns a crazy number of calories per hour. Depending on how intense you row, you could burn close to 800 calories per hour! It’s also a good workout to build muscle, you work your back, legs, shoulders and other muscles together.
