I am a little late since im currently in my 2nd trimester, 20 weeks tomorrow yayyyyy Half way point. I cant believe it lol.

Anyway so i will just go ahead and summarize how my first trimester went…
How we found out
This was quite funny, i am not one to crave things like soda or random foods. i usually take my meals to work and stick to them. But for some reason, they just were not cutting it. my usual cereal bar tasted like cardboard to me. The funniest part was when i went to McDonalds during my lunch break to order a large soda. Can you imagine? i hardly ever drink soda. I was on the phone at this time with hubby, so he overheard me and this followed:
Hubby: who ordered a soda
Me: i did?
Hubby: for who?
me: um for myself?
Hubby: You ordered a soda and a large soda at that for yourself??????
Me: i dont know whats going on, been craving it all day : ( insert sad face lol
Hubby: something is definitely up
I got home that night and we took a test. This was a week to my period so yep it came out negative, we were both quite sad. I decided to test again on my period day cause it was late and that never happens. of course it was positive yayyyyyy. I did 3 tests in the middle of the night then told hubby when he woke up
Fast forward, so how was First trimester?
OMG! i had so many cravings but had to try to tame myself. i craved panera bread once, lots of chipotle (i always made it healthy with brown rice, chicken, veggies, no sour cream or those fatty stuff)I also craved thai food a lot and chick fil A sandwich.
Most of my healthy lunch meals tasted disgusting to me, so i had to find ways to make eating out healthy. It was honestly hard cause imagine being used to eating healthy but now nothing can stay in my tommy unless its carbs or cooked by someone else or basically things i wont normally eat.
I also couldnt workout as much as i was low on energy, slept a whole lot! but i tried to get into the gym at least 3 times a week.
Right now i have adjusted my workouts to be lower weights but higher reps. I also take more rests in between to calm down.
I also keep a mental track of what i eat all day so i can maintain a healthy pregnancy.
I gained only a pound during 1st trimester yayyy!
